Incorporation Guide

LLC?  S-Corp??  Sole Proprietor???
Confused? It doesn’t have to be this way.

Start with the only question that matters:
What do you want your business to do for you?

Here’s the truth:
Taxes are your biggest expense.
Bigger than products. Bigger than rent.

For 3–4 months every year, you work just to pay them!!

So don’t guess. Decide.

Answer a few smart questions.
Find the structure that keeps more of what’s yours.

Do you have employees?
Do you have a business partner - either a hairstylist / work partner or any investors?
Do you have your own storefront rented from a traditional landlord (not a salon chair or suite rental)?
Do you offer any of these services: microblading, injections, tattoo, dermaplaning or permanent makeup?
Do you expect to make more than $30,000 in ordinary net income in a year?
To save money on taxes are you willing to maintain corporate records and basic paperwork?
