Yes, you’ll need to be licensed in your state for certain services to lease with Salons by JC. However, some services, like hair braiding, may not require a license. Be sure to check your state or local regulations for details!

Our private suites come with essential equipment, including a full-length mirror, styling chair, shampoo bowl and chair, towel cabinet, and a rolling styling cart. However, they are completely customizable, allowing you to design the space to fit your needs.
If you’re interested in our Resident Program suites, they do come fully furnished and include lockers for personal storage.
Our concierge manager is available to assist you Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. However, for your convenience, our salon operates 24 hours a day, so you have access whenever it best fits your schedule!

Generally any service included in health, beauty, wellness, salon, spa, or medspa areas are acceptable. Services such as tanning, spray tanning, lasering, body sculpting, tattooing, and even physical therapy are also fine. If you have a specific question about this it’s best to schedule a call with the salon manager of the location you prefer and she can talk with you more about your specific situation.
Each salon suite has a keyed lock to ensure only you have access. And the salon itself has a front door access control system to make sure salon owners and clients have easy, convenient access at all times, but is secure and tracked. The salon has alarms and has security cameras throughout the common areas. And the full time salon manager is trained in security procedures for added responsiveness to any issues.

Certified service animals are allowed. While we absolutely love our furry friends, unfortunately states’ cosmetology licensing boards do not permit any pets inside of any salon in the state. The state could revoke any salon’s license and shut the salon down if they find pets. So while we love our furry friends, we ask that you only welcome service animals in the salon.
