Interested in a suite rental?

How big are your suites?

Our suites range from 85 – 250 square feet.

If you prefer to know the dimensions rather than square footage, please schedule a call with the salon manager of your prefered location. She can provide you with the exact dimension measurements of available suites.

Can I share my suite?

Absolutely! You can share your suite and choose between a single lease or having each suitemate sign their own. Just remember, you’ll be responsible for your portion of the agreement.

What amenities are available?

Are utilities included in the rent

Yes all utilities are included in the rent price. This includes water, electricity, internet, hvac, garbage, and pest control.

What are your promotions?

What are your leasing terms?

We offer flexible leasing options including month-to-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month leases. Plus, we have a resident program that allows leasing on specific days!

Can I lease month-to-month?

Yes we offer month-to-month leases. All Resident Member (part-time) leases are month-to-month. And we offer a 30 day Life Happens Guarantee that allows Suite Owners (full-time) to terminate their lease early.

Is there a security deposit?

Our deposit requirements are by location. We’d love for you to chat with the concierge manager at your preferred salon for more details.

Can I customize my suite?

Absolutely! You can personalize your suite with your own furniture, paint, shelving, and lighting. The salon manager of your preferred location can give you more details about customizations and even show you some of the cool and unique suites created by our Suite Owners.

Do I need to have a license?

Yes, you’ll need to be licensed in your state for certain services to lease with Salons by JC. However, some services, like hair braiding, may not require a license. Be sure to check your state or local regulations for details!

What services do you provide at your salon suite?

Hair, nails, esthetics and skin, waxing, medspa, injectables, massage, lasering, tanning. Really most beauty, health and wellness services can be performed.

Is the salon suite furnished or unfurnished?

Our private suites come with essential equipment, including a full-length mirror, styling chair, shampoo bowl and chair, towel cabinet, and a rolling styling cart. However, they are completely customizable, allowing you to design the space to fit your needs.

If you’re interested in our Resident Program suites, they do come fully furnished and include lockers for personal storage.

What are the salon's hours of operation?

Our concierge manager is available to assist you Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. However, for your convenience, our salon operates 24 hours a day, so you have access whenever it best fits your schedule!

Can I set my own hours?

Absolutely! Our salon operates 24/7, giving you complete freedom to set your own business hours. You’re in control—work whenever it suits you best and run your business on your own terms!

Is there a marketing or advertising program provided for tenants?

Yes, we’ve got you covered!

If you want to grow your client book, we’ve partnered with Salon Launch. It’s a full service digital marketing agency for independent beauty professionals that grows your business so you can ensure success. Salon Launch Essentials is FREE at all LaunchKey Salons by JC locations.

What is the policy on personalizing or decorating the suite?

Our suites are completely customizable to fit your business’s unique and specific needs. Whether you’re going for a bold statement or a cozy vibe, we’re here to help bring your vision to life! If you need some profesional help building your dream suite, connect with Sweet Suite Pro – they’re a top tier design/build firm with a special focus group for salons and suites.

Are there shared facilities available?

Yes. There are client waiting areas, a business owner’s lounge or break room, and laundry facilities.

What is the parking situation for both tenants and clients?

We offer ample parking for both tenants and their clients, ensuring a convenient and stress-free experience. Our parking areas are safe and secure, so you and your guests can enjoy peace of mind every time you visit!

In NYC our locations are conveniently located close to major subway lines to ensure easy access and commute.

Are there any restrictions on the services I can provide?

Generally any service included in health, beauty, wellness, salon, spa, or medspa areas are acceptable. Services such as tanning, spray tanning, lasering, body sculpting, tattooing, and even physical therapy are also fine. If you have a specific question about this it’s best to schedule a call with the salon manager of the location you prefer and she can talk with you more about your specific situation.

How is the salon suite secured?

Each salon suite has a keyed lock to ensure only you have access. And the salon itself has a front door access control system to make sure salon owners and clients have easy, convenient access at all times, but is secure and tracked. The salon has alarms and has security cameras throughout the common areas. And the full time salon manager is trained in security procedures for added responsiveness to any issues.

What is the process for terminating the lease?

We know renting a salon suite can feel like a big decision and locking yourself into a full year lease can be intimidating and scary. That’s why we’re different than all the other salon suite options you might have looked at.

For our Resident Members, they are all month to month members, so they can terminate at any time with 30 days notice.

For our Suite Owners program we offer flexibility. It’s called the life happens guarantee. We understand life happens and you may not be able to honor the full term of your lease. So with our Life Happens Guarantee if you ever have a life issue, just give us 30 days notice and you can vacate your suite. If you’re in good standing, then NO questions asked! This means that you never have to worry again about 1 year lease term locking you in!

And for new salon owners who are just signing a lease we offer another amazing guarantee. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. We’re the only one in the industry that offers this. Try us risk free for 30 days. If you’re not completely satisfied in the first 30 days after you sign your lease, you can notify us and vacate your suite as you received it, and we will refund you the rent and security deposit you’ve paid to that point! So if you’re worried about becoming a suite owner or the upfront commitment seems scary or you’re not sure if you can be successful, this is a great way to protect yourself and get started.

Can I sublease the suite if needed?

Yes, subleasing is permitted at Salons by JC! Just make sure to provide the proper credentials to the concierge manager a few simple steps, and you’ll be good to go.

What kind of support or training do you offer to new Salon Owners?

We’ve found that many of our business owners join us because they love the independence, and they of course what to achieve the full financial success that is possible as an independent professional. But many of them never received training in marketing and how to find all the new clients they need to keep their book full. So we do two things that no one else in the industry offers. We teach you how to market your business and our partnership with Salon Launch provides you a team of marketing professionals and a powerful system to help you find and secure new clients with little effort.

Are you pet friendly?

Certified service animals are allowed. While we absolutely love our furry friends, unfortunately states’ cosmetology licensing boards do not permit any pets inside of any salon in the state. The state could revoke any salon’s license and shut the salon down if they find pets. So while we love our furry friends, we ask that you only welcome service animals in the salon.
